F-Secure has announced that Intel’s Active Management Technology (AMT) is vulnerable to a trivial exploit that allows an attacker to bypass any credentials on laptop. An attacker only needs physical access to a laptop and time to reboot it.  During the reboot, the user simply presses CTRL-P and logs into Intel Management Engine BIOS Extension (MEBx) using the default password.
